A poll done for Newsweek found that 13% of Americans have seen or sensed the presence of an angel. A contingent doubts that the percent is really that high. It conducts its own survey. Out of 76 Americans surveyed, only two had seen or sensed the presence of an angel. As a result of the contingent’s survey, would you agree with the Newsweek poll? Use a 1% percent level of significance to test the claim of the contigent.

Im in an online class and have have tried looking up these concepts on how to do these types of problems but i am getting no where could someone help please
 
I'll be honest and say that I'm a bit confused as to why you've been assigned these exercises if you've not had proper instruction on the material. I recommend having a talk with your instructor and/or the department head about this issue. Three lessons I found on how to calculate confidence intervals that look promising can be found on Math Is Fun, Online Stat Book, and Dummies.com. Go ahead and study from those lessons and when you feel like you have a good grasp of the material, give the exercises a try. If you get stuck again, that's okay, but when you reply back please include all of the work you've done on these problems, even the parts you know for sure are wrong.
