Aisha is making earrings for her friends. She has a basket full of yellow, orange, and pink glass beads. There is the same number of beads of each colour. Each earring uses 2 beads.
a)Describe the earrings Aisha can make.
b)Aisha picks the beads from her basket without looking. What is the probability she will create an earring with 2 pink beads

a)possible combinations - 6
1) yellow - yellow
2) yellow - orange
3) yellow - pink
4) orange - orange
5) orange - pink
6) pink - pink

b) probability of picking 2 pink - 1/6 - 16.66%

Does the order of the beads matter? For instance, if these are dangling earrings, a top-yellow, bottom-pink might not be viewed as being the same as a top-pink, bottom-yellow.

Thank you! ;)
