I have to calculate a correlation and say if it's significant or not. So I calculated the correlation using excel and it's 0,754651674 (R). I did the square of that (R)² = 0,569499149 so it's 57% wich means it's a strong connection.
R= 0,754651674 R square= 0,569499149 -> verklaarde variantie (explained variance?) 57% -> sterk kracht verband (strong connection?)
Test statistic t = r/√1-r²/n-2 0,75/√1-(0.75)²/40-2 = 6.90
