Counting Question

How many 5 digit odd numbers can be formed from 0 , 2 , 3 , 6 and 9 without repetition of digits?

Is the ans 36 or 72?

My working:

Last digit : 2 choices [odd number]
First digit : 3 choices [cannot be 0 or last digit]
Second digit : 3 choices [5-2]
Third digit : 2 choices [5-3]
Fourth digit : 1 choice [5-4]

TOTAL : 2 x 3 x 3 x 2 x 1 =36
If you really are not sure then just write down the numbers and count them. You seem to think that the answer is 36 so if in the end you find 72, twice as many, you can look at the numbers and see why you get twice as many as you were thinking.

Someone told me it was 72 but I am not really sure. So, 36 is the answer? Thanks so much!
