Frank can type a report in 8 hours. James takes 3 hours to type it. How long will it take the two of them typing together?

Please help. Thanks.

Frank can do 1/8th in 1 hour.
James can do 1/3d in one hour
Together they can do 1/xth in one hour
1/8 + 1/3 = 1/x
