How do you figure out the hypotenuse of a right triangle (NO A 30-60-90 triangle) when you only have two sides adjacent to the triangel as 25 m and 40 m?

what's the hypotenuse?

i'm about to just draw it out and measure myself. I CAN'T REMEMBER!

If you have two sides and want the other, you can use the Pythagorean Theorem:

. . . . a2 + b2 = c2

where a and b are the legs of a right triangle, and c is the hypotenuse.

doesn't that only work on 30-60-90 triangleS?
that's hwy i didn't use the pythogrean theorm
