The measure of a line segment, PC, I to hypotenuse, AC of right triangle ABC, is equal to the measure of leg, BC. Show BP may be I or parallel to the bisector of angle A.

Evidently on Bradley's planet, "I" means "perpendicular to".

It seems to make sense . . . and eyeballing it, it looks reasonable.
. . . now I need a proof.
 
I apologize for not checking back. But I does mean perpendicular. I was trying to underline the I i guess that didn't work.
