The question:
3x^7y^2+ 24xy^8

So far I have:
3x*y^2(x^6 + 8y^6)
3x*y^2(x^6 + 8y^6) =3x*y^2( (x^2)^3 + (2*y^2)^3 )

After that point, I'm stuck. What do I do?!?!?!

Apply the sum-of-cubes formula.

. . . . .a3 + b3 = (a + b)(a2 - ab + b2)
