sqrt 50t^2 minus t sqrt 288

looks like this I think...

\/ 50t^2 - t \/ 288

Your help in this would be great.
 
\/ 50t^2 - t \/ 288

=t V 50 - t V 288

= t( V 50 - V 288 )

= t( 5 V 2 - 12 V 2 )

= t( - 7 V 2 )

= -7 t V 2
(where V is a sqaure root)

not sure as to what else you may wish to do.....
 
To clarify how something like \/50 = 5\/2 is arrived at:

\/50 = \/(25 * 2) = \/25 * \/2 = 5 * \/2 or 5\/2

\/ = square root, of course!
