need to find the the area of a circle whose diameter is 6m. Use 3.14 for pie.....could you help and also explain how you got the answer? thanks :)

the formula for the area of a circle is (pi)(r^2)

since the diameter is 6, the radius is half of that

so A = (3.14) * (3^2)

area equals 3.14 times 3 squared
