could you help me figure this and explain how? thanks :)

The recreation department for a city is enclosing a rectangular playground that measures 15ft by 200ft with new fencing that costs $6.52 per foot. Find the cost of the new fencing?

Rectangle

It has length and width.
4 right angles.
2 pair of parallel sides - that makes it a parallelogram.
If length = width, then it's a square

I'm just dumping out data. I know it's a rectangle problem, so I'm searching my brain for information about rectangles. I recommend this behavior. A few more things come to mind.

Area = Length * Width
Perimeter = 2*Length + 2*Width

Ah, we absolutely can use that last one.

15 ft x 200 ft. this makes the perimeter 2*200 ft + 2*15 ft = 430 ft

You do the rest?
