I have tried this problem in different was please tell me what I am doing wrong.

Solve; Check solution and show check: 0.3x – 0.4(4 – x) = 4.7
0.3x – 0.4(4-x) = 4.7
.3x – 1.6 + 4x = 4.7
.3x + .4x – 1.6 = 4.7
.7 x – 1.6 = 4.7
+ 1.6 = +1.6
.7 x = 6.3
.7x .7x
x = 9
