Hello, goodmarkymark!

Insert parentheses into each equation so that a true statement is formed.

a) 8 + 6 ÷ 2 + 9 - 3 × 2 = 19

b) 8 + 7 ÷ 5 + 2 + 7 × 3 = 30
These take some imagination and a bit of trial-and-error.
. . Did you run out of ideas already?

a) .(8 + 6)/2 + (9 - 3) × 2 .= .(14/2) + (6 × 2) .= .7 + 12 .= .19

b) .(8 + 7)/5 + (2 + 7) × 3 .= .(15/5) +(9 × 3) .= .3 + 27 .= .30
