ok I have a couple more questions:

multiplying fractions, is this correct?:

2/9 x 5/7= 10/63?

7/8 x (-2 5/14)= 2 -7/112?

7t/16 x 10/15= 35t/120?

Now adding fractions:

2n/9 - -n/4= 17n/36?
2 3/10- 7 3/20= -4 17/20?

Now putting fractions into decimals:
72/125= 0.576 13/11= 1.18 (18 is repeating)

Now ordering fractions from least to greatest:
-3/4, -1/2, -2/3, -4/5
-45/60 -30/60 -40/60 -48/60

new order: -1/2, -2/3, -3/4, -4/5??

-1/4, -1/8, -0.75, -0.625

-0.25 -0.125 -0.75 -0.625= -0.75, -0.625, -0.125, -0.25?

multiplying fractions, is this correct?:

2/9 x 5/7= 10/63? YES

7/8 x (-2 5/14)= 2 -7/112? YES, although it's usually written -2 7/112 I think, and also 7/112 can be simplified to 1/16

7t/16 x 10/15= 35t/120? YES, although this can be simplified further to 7/24

Now adding fractions:

2n/9 - -n/4= 17n/36? YES
2 3/10- 7 3/20= -4 17/20? YES

Almost. Those are actually in reverse order. I know 4/5 is greater than 1/2, but -1/2 is greater than -4/5. Think about it this way. If you have $80 you have more than a person with $50. BUT - If you have -$80 you now have less than a person with -$50. Just remember where these numbers would go on a number line.

-1/4, -1/8, -0.75, -0.625

-0.25 -0.125 -0.75 -0.625= -0.75, -0.625, -0.125, -0.25?
You are close again... but -.125 and -.25 are reversed. Which one is closer to 0? Since they are negative, the one closer to 0 is greater.

thanks!
