evaluate the following expressions if, x=4 y=3 z=-2

Q1 y squared
Q2 xyz
Q3 xz + y

this problem is done like this:

x=4 y=3 z=-2

where ever you see "x" replace it with 4. where ever you see "y" replace it with 3. And same thing with z.

q1: y squared

This is saying the value of y is going to be squared.
y^2
then it becomes
3^2
solve that


Q2: xyz

This is saying (x)(y)(z)- x times y times z
so the problem would look like( 4)(3)(-2)- 4 times 3 times -2.
solve that.

Q3: xz+y

now you know what xz means- so figure this out-
HINT: (x)(z)+y
