multiplying and divinding complex fractions like 3a/b
2a2/b2

writting expressions in lowest form


2x-6 over x2 + 3x-18
 
Not sure as to what your first problem looks like - please retype it.
For the second one....
2x-6 over x2 + 3x-18

(2x-6) / (x^2 + 3x - 18)

=( 2 ( x-3) ) / ( (x-3) (x+6) )

= 2 / (x+6)
 
if the first problem is this.....

(3a/b) . (2a^2/b^2)

=(3a . 2a^2) / (b . b^2)

=6 a^3 / b^3
 
btw, if you want to make something to a power, like x<sup>5</sup>, you have to type x <s u p> 5 </ s u p> without the spaces. Also to make x<sub>5</sub>, you just type x <s u b> 5 </s u b> without the spaces. :) hope that helps.
