Hi all,

Need some help again?

I missed the class in the first section of chapter 5 as I had to attend a seminar for my work. I am not sure how to deal with these

The instructions say Graph the function. State the Domain.

1. g(x)=2^(x-3) +1

2. h(x)=-3^(x-1) +6

In the first one I tried to fill in the x with values to get the y

x=0 y=1 1/8
x=1 y=1 1/4
x=2 y=1 1/2
x=-1 y= 1 1/16
x=-2 y=1 1/25

I have a feeling the +1 means it moves the graph up 1 but not sure if I ignore that one in finding the y's or if I use it as I did?

Any help would be great

You did it correctly except for g(-2). It does move the line up one which you did when you included the + 1.

thanks. I see the error it should be 1 1/32

good deal. Just wanted to make sure I was on the right track.
