Multiply through by 42 yielding 42x - 49 = 42z + 18
The 42z's cancel out and you are left with an inequality of -49 = 18

"rojomario"]I don't think i copied the problem incorrectly.... the / is actually the division so if you read z-7 over 6 = z + 3 over 7

If that is what yu meant, it should be writted as (z - 7)/6 = (z + 3)/7
