Can somebody explain me how can I use Excel to suggest a distribution for a given dataset used for a process that was observed to obtain the data? I am trying to use the Chi^2 test but I got lost. This is what I have so far. I guess after that I am supposed to use som kinf of hypothesis but I don't know.

I don't have any info about the process, I am only interested in prooving what type of distribution could the data fit by using EXCEL. Or in other words, how can I use the Chi^2 test for prooving that a data sets follows a certain distribution.

Best Fit is a Whole Field of Study. Moment-Generating functions can be helpful. It is a matter of trying the right distribution and discovering that it is close or adequately representative. There is software for that sort of thing. There is NOT a brief description of how to proceed, unless you just happen to know the generating distribution.
