it was a question on a worksheet and the question was something like this:

23x+4-2+22x...>25x6-8......
it was a multispet inequalty

my final steps were (i think):
n+6>n-13
-6 -6

n>n-19
 
Not having the original question, it's hard to comment on the validity of your answer. But since "n > n - 19" simplifies to the true statement "0 > -19", there is nothing wrong with the final (trivial) inequality.
