Word Problem (Lenny Conundrum, Round 171)

Suppose you spent a total of 16480 Neopoints on four different codestones that you found on the Shop Wizard. The Mau Codestone's cost was equal to the Tai-Kai Codestone plus half the cost of the Main Codestone. The Tai-Kai Codestone's cost was the same as the Eo Codestone minus the cost of the Main Codestone. You paid three times as much for the Mau Codestone as you did for the Main codestone. The Eo Codestone cost as much as the Tai-Kai and the Main Codestones put together.

How much did the Eo Codestone cost? Round to the nearest whole number.

Yes, it's the latest "Lenny Conundrum". Neopets would apparently prefer that people not post the answer before the contest closes, as "playing fair" is presumed to boost the chances of those members who do the work themselves.

There is no "right" category for Neopets puzzle contest questions, since this is a math-tutoring forum.

However, if you would like to display the math that you have tried, we'd be glad to help you work your way toward an answer. A good place to start would be by listing and defining the variables you chose. Then give the equations you have constructed. And so forth.
