7-4[5-2(7-8)=
Why are you calling this algebra?
You're missing a bracket! I'll assume you mean:
7 - 4[5 - 2(7 - 8)] = ?

Innermost brackets are done first:
(7 - 8) = -1
then next set of brackets:
[5 - 2(-1)] = 5 + 2 = 7
So we now have:
7 - 4[7]
= 7 - 28
= -21 : that's it
