Im having a difficult time with a few math problems, but Im going to start one posting at a time. First I am having a hard time understanding the Mean part of Median and Mode.

After I add them up, I dont excatly understand what I need to do with the division i cant figure out what number im supposed to divide it by and where or how i place the decimal when im done, since they are all odd numbers. It seems to be harder with all odd numbers in the problem. I understand how to do the problems with even numbers though :? :(

Jado, (345+471+323+713) / 4 = 463 : what IS your question in simple language?

But the "mean" is different from the "median" and the "mode". What do you mean, for instance, by the "mean part of the mode"?

Please reply with clarification, including the exact text of and instructions for the exercise in question. Thank you.

Eliz.
