35 * 54 = (30 + 5)*(50 + 4)
= 30*(50 + 4) + 5*(50 + 4) <== There it is.
= 30*50 + 30*4 + 5*50 + 5*4 <== There it is.
= 1500 + 120 + 250 + 20
= 10*(150 + 12 + 25 + 2) <== There it is.
= 10*(189) = 1890
