Graphs and slopes and y intercepts

I have a test next thursday and I'm having a terrible time figuring out the graphs. I used to love Algebra but I am beginning to hate it. I just cant seem to understand the slopes and the points. I have a solutions book but even so I have went over problem after problem and I just can't get it. Can someone help me? I even have a tutor but she just doesn't have the time I need. Sorry I had forgot to put my subject in.
