hello

can you tell me how to find the intercepts in this equation

g(x) = -x^+6x

I don't know what formule to use when there are just two terms
thanks

There appears to be a typo in the above equation: whatever the power is (the number after the "^" symbol) has been left off.

In general, one finds the x-intercept(s) by plugging zero in for y (or, here, g(x)) and solving.

g[x]=x^2+6x factor out x I assume you meant x^2 for x^
g[x]=x[x+6] set g[x]=0
0=x[x+6]
x=0 or x=-6 answer
