Standard Form: wat is ans to ax^2 + bx + c = 0, solve for x

What has that to do with "Standard Form"?

Do you know the "Quadratic Formula"?

Are you acquainted with the process called "Completing the Square"?

yes... x = -b +/_ SqRt b^2 -4ac all over 2a...
I will guess that this is your answer to "Are you familiar with the Quadratic Formula?", and that you actually mean "(-b ± sqrt[b^2 - 4ac]) / (2a)". But you have left the other questions unanswered, so we still do not know what you are needing to do.

Please reply with the full and exact text of the exercise, the complete instructions (in regular words, not cutesy-kiddie chat-speak), and the clear listing of what you have tried so far.

Thank you for your consideration.

Eliz.
