I am having a problem with this:

Perform the indicated operation:

. . .8/r + 9/(r - 9)

I got an answer of:

. . .(17r - 72)/(r(x - 9))

Is this right, or at least close? Thank you!

Correct the "x" in the denominator to an "r", and you'll have the correct expression.
