A truck going 55 mph overtakes a bus who is going at 35 mph, has a 3 hour head start. How many miles from the starting point, does the truck overtake the cyclist?

I know r*t=d, I think I do it this way, I'm really not sure
55t=35(t+3)

If anyone has any clues, on what to do next or if I am doing it right.

Solving for t will result in t = 5.25 hours.

So distance from starting point will be 3*35 + 5.25*35 : understand?
