percentage prob: 300% of 1/3 of sqrt[9] is... what?

Three hundred percent of one third of the square root of nine is what?

would it be 300% of 3

I'm guessing it would be 9. I don't know the square root part is so confusing.
 
What is confusing about it?

Square Root of 9 is 3, since 3*3 = 9

100% of 3 is 3
200% of 3 is 6
300% of 3 is 9

Looks to me like you have it.
 
But, but "one third of the square root of nine" = 1/3 * 3 = 1 : sorry bout that :cry:

300% of 1 = 3

It is ALWAYS more confusing when one fails to read the entire problem.
