Picking uniform colors: how many schemes are possible?

Suppose a team has to pick jersies out of nine colors and can't use the same color twice. How many four-color schemes are possible?

(9)(8)(7)(6)/(4)(3)(2)(1) = 3024/24 = 126 Thanks
 
If the color scheme on the jersey matters, then I would think

P(9,4)=4!C(9,4)=3024.
 
That depends. I would think order matters when it comes to color schemes on a jersey.
