Question:
Two unbiased dice are thrown once and the total score is observed. Find the probability that:

a) the total score is even or greater than 7

\(\displaystyle \L\\\frac{{18}}{{36}} + \frac{{15}}{{36}} - \frac{9}{{36}} = \frac{2}{3}\)

This one I used P(even or >7)=P(even)+P(>7)-P(even and >10)

b) the total score is divisible by 3 and greater than 7

\(\displaystyle \L\\\frac{{(2 + 5 + 4 + 1)}}{{36}} \bullet \frac{{(4 + 1)}}{{(2 + 5 + 4 + 1)}} = \frac{5}{{36}}\)

Thank you for your help
