A pin is used for banking, for security reasons they tell you not to use your birth date. Kerri is very forgetful person. So she uses the numbers from her birthday, she plans to mix up the numbers. Kerri was born on June 23, 1978( written 23/06/78 on her drivers license). Therefore, the numbers she plans to use for her 4 digit pin are 2, 3,0,6,7, and 8. How many different 4-digit pins can be created using the numbers from this set with repetition?

My answer:
6P4 = 360

How many different 4 digit pin can be created using theses numbers with out repetition?

Here I am not sure!
thanks! :wink:

Your answer is the answer to the last question: How many different 4 digit pin can be created using theses numbers with out repetition?

If numbers can be repeated the answer is: \(\displaystyle 6^4\).
