All x2 means x squared
(x-2)2 means that squared

x^2 means x squared

(x-2)^2 means the quantity (x-2) squared.

use parentheses as grouping symbols to make your post clear.

start by factoring the numerator and denominator of the first fraction ...

[x(x-3)]/[(x-2)(x-3)] * [(x-2)(x-2)]/(2x)

cancel the factors that are common to numerator and denominator of both fractions ... (x-2)/2 will be what's left ... you're done.

What was the rest of the question (that is, the instructions)? What are you supposed to be doing with this expression?

Please be specific. When you reply, please also include a clear listing of everything you have tried so far.

Thank you! :D
