Solve 1/2x + 3y = 6 for the 3 points to graph

Please show your work and exactly where you are stuck

1/2x + 3y =6
1/2x + 3(2)=6
1/2x + 6 = 6
-6 -6
-------------------
1/2x = 6
________
1/2 1/2
x = 3
(3,2)

1/2x + 3y = 6
1/2(-2) + 3y = 6
-1 + 3y = 6
+1 +1
--------------------
3Y = 7
---------
3 3

Y = 7/3
(-2,7/3)

1/2X + 3Y=6
1/2X + 3(3) =6
1/2X + 9 = 6
-9 -9
----------------
1/2X = -3
-------------
1/2 1/2
X = -6

(-6,3)

-------------------
1/2x = 6<---- Incorrect This should be 1/2 x = 0
________
1/2 1/2
x = 3
(3,2)<----This should be (0,2)

1/2x + 3y = 6
1/2(-2) + 3y = 6
-1 + 3y = 6
+1 +1
--------------------
3Y = 7

3 3

(-2,7/3) Correct ....You can check it yourself by putting these values back into the function (1/2*x + 3*y) and see if you get '6' as answer.

1/2X + 3Y=6
1/2X + 3(3) =6
1/2X + 9 = 6
-9 -9
----------------
1/2X = -3
-------------
1/2 1/2
X = -6

(-6,3)<---------Now you check your answer and find out if you are correct or not.
