Assuming you mean "discriminant", and that you're referring to the Quadratic Formula, used for solving quadratic equations in the form "ax[sup:398kip82]2[/sup:398kip82] + bx + c = 0", yes, "b[sup:398kip82]2[/sup:398kip82] - 4ac" is the discriminant.james said:
