What have you tried? You've posted quite a few questions, but have not shown any of your work.
I'll give you a hint. The second equation tells you that "x" is the same thing as "y + 1". Replace the "x" in the first equation with (y + 1). You'll get an equation with just one variable, y. Solve that for y.
If you are still having trouble with this, please repost, showing us what you have tried. When you don't show us any work, it appears that you may be expecting us to just give you answers.
