Domain of f(x)^x + 4

could you please help me with finding domain I really don't understand this at all. I am failing the class and it is standing in the way of me getting my degree.

f(x)^x+4

1) You must fix your notation. What you have written doesn't mean anything.

2) Don't let the Domain thing scare you. Assume the Domain is ALL REAL NUMBERS unless you can think of a reason why it is not so.

Two quick examples:

\(\displaystyle f(x) = \frac{1}{x-3}\)

Domain is All Real Numbers EXCEPT x = 3. Do you see why?

\(\displaystyle g(x) = \sqrt{x}\)

Domain is all NONNEGATIVE Real Numbers. Do you see why?
