Can someone show me how to do this

(1+x)^1/2 * (1-x)^1/2

The answer given in the book is (1 - x^2)^1/2

\(\displaystyle (1+x)^{1/2} * (1-x)^{1/2}\)

Use the rule--- \(\displaystyle a^x\cdot b^x = (ab)^x\)
