It's been a while since I had to do this. My daughter has this problem for homework & does not have her text book that I can reference to. I need help from you to help her. I love math but again it's been a while.
Can you please tell me how to solve hte following equation?
x-10=21
2

Thank you! :?

That method cannot be right. The answers are as follows:
a- 1/3
b- 1/2
c- 2 1/2
d- 5
If I use the method you provided I do not get the answer of any of the choices provided.

If your problem is:

\(\displaystyle \frac{x-10}{2}\, = \, 21\)

Then none of the "given" answers match.
