I dont have any steps to show I dont know where to start

What is it that you need to show? What is it that you need to show?

Do you know how to add:

\(\displaystyle \frac{1}{2}\, + \, \frac{1}{4} \, = \, ?\)

Re: Please help PLEASE!!

\(\displaystyle \frac{w}{2}+\frac{w}{4}=12\)

I guess you are trying to solve for w.

First step might be to multiply both sides of the equation by the least common denominator of the fractions. Then solve the resulting equation.
