Can someone help? for somer reason, I can't seem to solve this problem:

a^3 - 8 divided by a - 2 = :?: I would greatly appreciate it!!!! I need it for my student tomorrow morning. I'm a tutor and seem stuck on this fairly easy problem.

You have forgotten about the difference of two cubes.

\(\displaystyle a^{3}-8=(a)^{3}-(2)^{3}=(a-2)(a^{2}+2a+4)\)
