Given f(x)= 2x^3. Describe The Symmetry.
a) rotational symmetry around the origin
b) reflectional symmetry across y=0
c) reflection symmetry accross x=0
d) no symmetry

I think the answer is b or c. What did you get? Please describe the answer. :)

Prove it. Don't guess.

Symmetry across the Y-axis. f(x) = f(-x) What say you? Even Function?

How about this? f(x) = -f(-x) Odd function? Is that symmetry?

How about this? f(x) = -f(x) Is that a function? Careful. Symmetry?
