1. You have 26 number cards, numbered from 1 to 26. How many times might you expect to draw the 24 card in 1,300 tries?

2. If you had a jar with 166 white marbles and 2 red marbles, and you reached in without looking how many times might you select a red marble after 1,000 tries?

For 2. I got 12 times. I'm not sure if I'm right.

WHY don't you know? Are you a student attending math classes? What grade are you in?

Problem is if "you know nothing", you then need classroom teaching, impossible here.
Understand?

Hello, Petenerd!

Your answer to #2 is correct.

Use the same technique on #1.

First of all, I don't how to solve these problems because they aren't related to the type of questions that I learned. Second of all, I trying to ask for help so don't get pissed off because someone is trying to understand something.
