Hi, I need some help with a particular problem please:

A CEO is planning a meeting with 3 of his administrative assistants for Monday morning. He believes that
each of these 3 busy individuals, independently has a 60% chance of being able to attend the meeting. What
is the formula used to determine the probability distribution of the number of administrative assistants who
can attend the meeting? What is the probability that none of the 3 administrative assistants can attend the
meeting?

Think about a binomial whenever you see a trial is either a success or failure. In this case, attend or not attend the meeting.

\(\displaystyle {3\choose k} (\frac{3}{5})^{k}\cdot (\frac{2}{5})^{3-k}\)

The probability of none attending would be when k=0, 3 attending--k=3, and so on.
