sample standard deviation of grouped data

I used the formula for standard deviation with these numbers plugged in:
41 (215,580.25) minus (2946.5)squared, divided by 41(41-1), all under square root symbol. I always come up with 55.490.The answer is supposed to be 9.8 with a sample variance of 96.0 Could you give me the steps to put it in the calculator correctly?
 
Without seeing your calculator, it is difficult to advise. Maybe you could review your owners manual...?
