I have few problems with probability and i hope you guys can help me.

1) IF there are 8 identical blackboards to be distributed to 4 distinct schools, how many ways are there? The answer given is 165.

\(\displaystyle \binom{n+k-1}{n}\)

\(\displaystyle \binom {11}{8}\)

Serena, don't forget to tell your teacher that it's possible for 1 school to get them all;
if each school gets at least 1, then answer is 35.
