Hi I'm new to this so first I want to thank you for your time and help. I'm having trouble with getting started with my answers. I never know which formula to use. My homework is due today but I am ok with submitting it a day late.

Well here is my problem

Consider the sample data below. (The data was in the form of a table)
50 24 20 21 38 27 37 40 39 27 27
25 29 36 34 34 40 18 23 19 29 34 ?
30 30 28 19 16 30 25 34 20 19 40 x-bar

Suppose we wish to test the following hypotheses for the data:
H?: µ ? 35
Ha: µ > 35
Given the mean (x-bar) and the standard deviation ? of the data as above:

(A) Compute the appropriate test statistic for testing H? (show all work).
(B) Determine the critical value for ? = 0.05.
(C) Test H? using the traditional/classical method.
(D) State the decision based on the results of the test.
(E) Had you used the p-value method of hypothesis testing, what would the p-value have been?

Any help or clarification would be greatly appreciated.
