Please help........
Problem: Solve these systems graphically
y=3
x=5

How do you get 2 lines from this info.? Maybe I am not understanding the question correctly.
So far we have done:
(5,3) (5,3)
3=5+b so b=-2

y = 3 is the equation of a line where every point on the line has a y-coordinate of 3. SOME of the points on this line would be (-2, 3), (-1, 3), (0, 3), (2, 3) and (5, 3). Plot those points and draw the line that goes through them.

x = 5 is the equation of a line where every point on the line has an x-coordinate of 5. SOME of the points on this line would be (5, -2), (5, -1), (5, 0), (5, 2), (5, 4). Plot those points, and draw the line that goes through them.

Do you see the point of intersection? That point is on the line y = 3, so the y-coordinate must be 3. That point is also on the line x = 5, so the x-coordinate must be 5. What are the coordinates of the point of intersection then?
