To solve using the principle of zero products

(x+4)(x+9)=0

would I

2x 2 +2 3+3

Not sure if this is right.

how would I change 2.13219 X10 to the 9th power in kilometers and convert it into meters noting that 10000 meters is 1 kilometers. then converted into scientific notation?

would I multiply 2.13219 by 10000? Would this change the power to a higher number?
one more question how do you write an answer which is in scientific notation into newtons?

If

A * B = 0, then

either A= 0

or B = 0

In your case,

x + 4 = 0 ? x = ???

x + 9 = 0 ? x = ???

would I

2x 2 +2 3+3

1 kilometer = 10[sup:20q8b459]3[/sup:20q8b459] meter

2.13219 * 10[sup:20q8b459]9[/sup:20q8b459] km = 2.13219 * 10[sup:20q8b459]9[/sup:20q8b459] * 10[sup:20q8b459]3[/sup:20q8b459] m = 2.13219 * 10[sup:20q8b459]12[/sup:20q8b459] m[/spoiler:20q8b459]
